The first couple of times I burned many hours with Office365 help desk staff and even GoDaddy staff. Somewhere deep in the settings that MX setting trumps the DNS settings. Once enabled, I can use CPanel and then I scroll to the bottom and change the MX setting from Remote to Local. If you don't have a CPanel on that account, I have had to add webhosting to the account: temporarily. You have to go into the CPanel MX settings and make certain they are set to local instead of remote. This is because another MX thing (I don't know what exact technical term is) trumps the DNS entries. For some reason, even if you have all your entries correct, it still points you to one of their addresses. There is a known issue with GoDaddy and autodiscover.
